SUNDAY 3rd OCTOBER 1999: Shaking things Up?

The Sunday Times reports that NatWest is planning a management shake-up "to bolster Derek Wanless." We have too many middle layers of management and need more people "who eat red meat." I probably can't argue with either of those diagnoses. They also report that we are planning to sell Heythrop Park, the training centre in Oxfordshire, which is true.
