On a beautiful Saturday morning like this it is hard to understand why I am voluntarily sitting in a dreary hotel meeting room in Peterborough talking about funding for CIPS branch meetings. But at least today it is a pretty good meeting with some interesting debate, particularly on the e-procurement stuff.
I arrive home in time to nip out for a few holes before dark; family are still down at the in-laws. Hit one of the best 8- irons of my life, 135 yards to 9 feet into the toughest green on the course. Goes without saying of course I missed the birdie putt and then had an 8 on the next hole! Oh well, takes my mind off these career decisions.
