This looks like a good day for a trip to Bath to help daughter with her school project on the Georgians. The Costume Museum is to my surprise very interesting, and lunch at the Olive Tree restaurant is truly excellent and about two thirds of London prices. However the weather turns horrendous. We drive out of Bath in the pouring rain via the house Jane lived in as a very young child when her father was working for the Corps of Naval Architects in Bath. I'm not sure how interested daughter is in family history. She has the great ability to read in the car without feeling sick, so she is perfectly happy engrossed in Harry Potter as we head back along the M4.
