I am looking at whether there are realistic alternatives to Andersen in terms of doing Redgrave. The other consultants who seem to my knowledge to be the most advanced in their e-procurement thinking are probably PwC.
I meet Patrick, who is their partner responsible for e-procurement, and tell him what we are looking at doing. He is very interested, but is also obviously worried about conflicts of interest; in particular how Redgrave would fit into PwC's existing plans to develop various e-procurement products and solutions. He's going to go away and think about it.
